We are here to make debate and public speaking accessible to young people across Marlborough. 

Many smaller communities like Havelock, Renwick, Picton and even parts of Blenheim do not always have spaces where students can learn to discuss ideas, grasp local issues, and build confidence. Our mission is to change that by creating a space to build confidence and encourage the beauty of advocacy to spread throughout our community.

Debate and speaking up serve a purpose aside from competition.

 We want our members to engage with the problems affecting Marlborough, such as the lack of educational equity for our youth and their opportunities. By working with community groups, schools, and local organisations, we aim to develop projects that benefit people, strengthen the voices of our rangatahi, and help young people contribute to the future of Marlborough.
